Welcome to Online Education at SUNY Cobleskill

Online Education at SUNY Cobleskill provides you the opportunity to meet real instructors through the Internet, using our Learning Management System, Brightspace. When you take a class online, you'll receive the same high-quality instruction, technology support, and accreditation as you would in a traditional classroom.

Generally speaking, online courses are convenient and flexible. They teach students not only life-long learning techniques but also self-discipline skills. However, online courses may not be the best choice for everyone. Please check the Frequently Asked Questions for online learning to see if you're ready to take courses online.

If you are a new student taking courses online at SUNY Cobleskill, you must go to the one-time password creation site: Network Activation, to activate your COBY network and email account. After you enter your Banner ID and PIN, you'll get your username and be prompted to create a password. The username and password are required for logging into various SUNY Cobleskill resources.
